Where is Home?

This album was produced over two years by John Saxon for State of Emergency Limited and represents a musical journey and a collaboration between South Africa, the United Kingdom and also the U.S.A. South African Grammy winner Wouter Kellerman and English Singer/Songwriter Steve Marshall first met in a diner on Melrose Avenue, Los Angeles and it was there that they agreed to work together to create the soundtrack for the Dance Musical ‘Where Is Home?’.

All the tracks were recorded at Jazzworx Studios, Johannesburg, with Wouter Kellerman (Flute), David Klassen (Drums, Percussion and Vocals), Ratshepe Makhene (Bass Guitar, Percussion and Vocals) and Steve Marshall (Vocals, Guitar and Organ); except Perfect Strangers which was recorded at The Premises Recording Studio, London and features Alan Weekes (Guitar), Kenrick Rowe (Drums) and Michele Montolli (Upright Bass).

The sound engineers in Jo’burg were Greg Nottingham and Matthew Gardner, and in London it was Jonjo Keefe. The album was mastered by Lawrence Gill.
